Overview
Nyungwe National Park is one of Africa’s oldest and most pristine rainforests, located in the southwest of Rwanda. Famous for its rich biodiversity, towering mountain forests, and rare primate species, Nyungwe offers an unforgettable blend of nature, adventure, and serenity. Nyungwe National Park can be visited all year round, but the best time to visit is during the dry seasons:

During these months the trails are less slippery, wildlife viewing is easier, and the overall experience is more comfortable.
However, the rainy season offers greener scenery and fewer crowds, although trails tend to be muddier and more challenging.
