Experience one of the world’s most extraordinary wildlife encounters in just one unforgettable day.

Your journey begins early in the morning with a scenic drive to by your driver guide, where you will drive for 3hrs from Kigali to the Volcanoes National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas.

Upon arrival, you will attend a briefing by expert park rangers before heading into the lush rainforest to begin your trek.

Guided by experienced trackers, you will hike through bamboo forests, mist-covered slopes, and rich volcanic terrain in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take between 1–4 hours depending on the gorillas’ location, but every step builds anticipation.

Once located, you will spend a magical and strictly regulated one hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat. Watch them feed, groom, play, and interact, a powerful and humbling wildlife encounter that few places on earth can offer.

After the trek, you return to the main starting point and your drive guide will drive you SILVERBACK RESTAURANT for refreshing and have lunch then drive back to Kigali with unforgettable memories of standing just meters away from these gentle giants.
