Mountain Gorilla Sanctuary
Overview
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in southwestern Uganda, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most biologically diverse rainforests. Famous for its dense jungle and mist-covered hills, Bwindi is home to nearly half of the world’s endangered mountain gorillas. The park also hosts more than 120 mammal species, over 350 bird species, and a rich cultural heritage from the Batwa people.
Bwindi offers visitors an unforgettable blend of wildlife encounters, deep rainforest adventures, and vibrant local traditions.
