Sample Highlights of 10 Days Thrilling Rwanda Safari Itinerary at a Glance

DAY 1 – THE RETREAT/Kigali – Bed and Breakfast –

Today on arrival into Kigali airport, you will be met and escorted through customs and immigration and then driven to THE RETREAT  with you driver guide for an overnight stay.

DAY 2 – AKAGERA GAME LODGE /Akagera National Park – Fully Inclusive –

After breakfast, your guide will collect you from your hotel and take you on a tour of Kigali and the Genocide Museum. After lunch you will be driven about 2 hours 30 minutes with your private car and driver to Akagera National Park, where you will register and some paperwork as you get the briefing from the park guide of the park maintenance and guideline.

After the registration your will do a short game drive and the it follows the sunset boat ride to lake ihema which is the second biggest lake in Rwanda, after the activity, you will be heading to your designated accommodation Akagera Game Lodge.

DAY 3 – KARENGE BUSH CAMP /Akagera National Park – Fully Inclusive –

This morning you will go out for a game drive. This is where the game is played where you set off the big 5 and try some chances of spotting different mammals, birds, reptiles, trees and shrubs also with different stories of the park. Later in the evening we will drive heading to our different camp for early dinner and checking in at KARENGE BUSH CAMP where we will be enjoying the sunset and also the night game drive before our dinner. After the night game drive we will drive to back to camp for an overnight.

DAY 4 – KIGALI / KIGALI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT –Breakfast & Lunch –

Early morning in the dawn before breakfast we will drive out on the expedition of finding more of the big 5 and testify the last night's hunt also with the beautiful sunrise out in the savannah. After the morning game drive we will head back to the camp for breakfast and get ready to check out as we drive exiting the park going back to Kigali for your flight back home or proceeding the travels.
